Position Overview

The Center for Human Capital Innovation (CHCI) is a strategic consulting firm dedicated to improving human capital management across the federal government and private sector organizations. CHCI is a growing small business looking for the ideal person to join our team of consulting professionals. We are currently seeking a General Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects in human capital management.

Principal Responsibilities

The General Analyst is a member of a CHCI project team. The successful candidate will join an agile consulting project team that supports Federal government projects in learning and development, data analytics, and reengineering workflows for clients. The General Analyst will also have the opportunity to join efforts to support private industry clients. Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct research, analysis, and evaluation to support human capital management projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide support, insights, and recommendations for clients.
  • Utilize various techniques and tools to interpret and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Prepare and/or deliver reports, presentations, and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to clients.
  • Support the design and implementation of consulting projects, including data collection, stakeholder interviews, and project task tracking.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training programs related to human capital management and organizational development.

The ideal candidate should have a robust background in several foundational skills, including verbal and written communication, and an ability to collect, analyze, and present all forms of information. Attention to detail in all areas is a requisite skill.

Additionally, an ability to build interpersonal relationships, actively support the collective efforts to continue the growth of CHCI’s creative team, and meet deadlines are all critical competencies to the General Analyst position. Everyone at CHCI is expected to contribute to the firm’s thought leadership initiatives through research, writing, and participation in conferences or events.

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related disciplines.
  • At least three years of experience working on projects involving data analysis, research, or consulting.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in utilizing data analysis techniques and tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (data analysis and visualization tools are a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Willingness to travel to the DC Metro area as required for client engagements
  • Preference is given to candidates with experience working with the federal government, human capital consulting, learning, or education.

Security Clearance

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
  • An active security clearance is highly desirable.

Travel

  • Local travel within the DC Metro area (if remote, sporadic travel to client sites and/or DC Metro area)
