About the Role
We are seeking current college students and recent graduates to draft blogs related to Human Capital, Leadership Development, People Analytics, and more. The goal for our interns is to sharpen their writing skills, learn more about topics related to Human Capital through research, and create a portfolio of writing samples that they can use in the future. Interns are welcome to make suggestions for blogs in any areas that they are interested in pursuing or researching, and we will try to accommodate if possible.
- Conduct research, analysis, and evaluation to support human capital management projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
Interns will be responsible for drafting a minimum of 2 blogs per month on topics as assigned. Blogs should be approximately 1000-1500 words each (but no more than 2000 words) and cannot be drafted using an AI program. As we are a data-driven organization, some research will be required to include statistics and/or real-life examples for each blog.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related disciplines.
- At least three years of experience working on projects involving data analysis, research, or consulting.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in utilizing data analysis techniques and tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (data analysis and visualization tools are a plus)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Willingness to travel to the DC Metro area as required for client engagements
- Preference is given to candidates with experience working with the federal government, human capital consulting, learning, or education.
Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary program or recently graduated
- Must have strong writing and research skills
- Able to meet deadlines, problem solve, and work independently
- Attentive to detail and committed to delivering high-quality work products
- Able to think creatively and write in an engaging manner
- Ability to understand various topics around Human Capital and communicate effectively about them
