Center for Human Capital Innovation Supports Carpenter’s Shelter
The Center for Human Capital Innovation (CHCI) team supported the Carpenter’s Shelter on September 10, 2019. As part of their effort to give back, Made With Love Catering also pitched in to feed approximately 30-35 people in support of this community effort.
The Carpenter’s Shelter empowers and enables the local homeless population to achieve sustainable independence through education, guidance, shelter and advocacy. Among their many support services, Carpenter’s Shelter provides emergency shelter to families and single adults experiencing homelessness in the City of Alexandria, VA, in which an estimated 198 individuals are homeless, including 23 families and 124 single residents.
