Strategic Planning Senior Analyst

Position Location: Washington DC Metro area

Responsibilities: Serves as a task lead on a strategic planning project team in support of a federal government client. Supports project planning and reporting. As a task lead within a Project team, the Strategic Planning Senior Analyst conducts research, environmental scan, SWOT Analysis, and supports the client in identifying mission, vision, goals, objectives, key issues and priorities. Uses a wide application of principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to develop innovative solutions to problems. Applies expert knowledge to gather facts, research and analyze the data, and develop conclusions and recommendations.

Experience: The Strategic Planning Senior Analyst must have demonstrated knowledge / experience in the following:

  • 6 – 12+ years of relevant work experience in government or private sector
  • Strategic planning experience in the federal government as a supervisor or manager
  • 5 years of experience in managing tasks or subtasks
  • Strong consultative, interpersonal, communication and presentation skill
  • Exceptional communications capability: written, oral, and development of effective presentations
  • Experience with leading or conducting strategic planning
  • Understanding of human capital management
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management

Minimum Educational / Degree Requirements: Master’s degree in Strategic Management, Business, Public Administration, Policy, Political Science, Human Capital or a related discipline Applicable Training or Certification Requirements: Human Capital, ORSA, strategic planning

Security Clearance: Must be capable of passing Federal Department / Agency Suitability Review or Contractor Background Investigation. Security Clearance is desirable

Travel: Local travel within DC Metro area will be required regularly. Domestic travel may be required.
