Strategic Planning analyst I

Position Location: Washington DC Metro area

Responsibilities: Serves as a project team member for a Strategic Planning project in support of a federal government client. Provides research, writing, coordination with stakeholders, meeting coordination, and other support to tasks as part of a strategic planning project team. Uses a wide application of principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to develop innovative solutions to problems. Applies expert knowledge to gather facts, research and analyze the data, and develop conclusions and recommendations.

Experience: The Strategic Planning Analyst I must have demonstrated knowledge / experience in the following:

  • 6 years of relevant work experience in government or private sector
  • Experience in Federal Government departments or agencies
  • Strong consultative, interpersonal, communication and presentation skill
  • Exceptional communications capability: written, oral, and development of effective presentations
  • Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management


Minimum Educational / Degree Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Administration, Policy, Political Science or a Human Capital related discipline

Applicable Training or Certification Requirements: Human Capital, ORSA, statistics, strategic planning.

Security Clearance: Security Clearance is desirable. Must be capable of passing Federal Department / Agency Suitability Review or Contractor Background Investigations

Travel: Local travel within DC Metro area will be required regularly.  Domestic travel may be required.
